About this service
USDOT numbers are deactivated when required updates (such as the biennial MCS-150 update) are missed. We review the status of your USDOT record, prepare the correct MCS-150 update and submit it to FMCSA to request reactivation.
Important: a USDOT number keeps its history with FMCSA. Reactivation restores the number; it does not erase prior inspection, crash or compliance records.
